Lowland League new boys Cumbernauld Colts will play Glasgow University at Broadwood in their first ever Scottish Cup tie later this month.

Colts were paired with the students when the draw was made by Scotland assistant boss Mark McGhee.

The tie is scheduled to be played on Saturday, September 26, although Clyde are also due to play at Broadwood on that date in a League Two encounter with Berwick Rangers.

Colts have made a promising start to their first season in the Lowland League, winning four of their opening seven matches to sit fourth in the table ahead of their home match with third-placed Spartans on Wednesday night.
