Forfar West End 1 Cumbernauld United 4

Emirates Scottish Junior Cup, third round replay

THIS Scottish Junior Cup replay at Forfar Athletic’s Station Park was the quintessential game of two halves.

After losing a goal in the fourth minute of the contest, United struggled for most of the first half and were fortunate not to go further behind. The Cumbernauld team improved towards the interval, but were a side completely transformed after the break scoring an early equaliser to then outplay the home team and secure a comprehensive victory - a great result for John Queen and his men.
