A goal in the 94th minute earned Kilwinning Rangers a point against Cumbernauld United at Guy’s Meadow on Saturday.
In a somewhat scrappy uncompromising encounter which ended 1-1, the Ayrshire team probably deserved a share of the spoils on account of their second half showing.
The United boys, who faded a bit after the break, have played six games in the past two weeks and it showed to a certain extent. Kilwinning have only had three matches in the same period and seemed to last the pace that little bit better.
With three more fixtures in the next seven days it will not be easy for the Cumbernauld men.
