This was another heavy defeat for Rangers at Shotts on Saturday, in a re-run of the previous weeks thrashing at home by Beith, they have now conceded ten goals in two games and remain anchored at the foot of the table. With almost a third of the league now completed their position now appears almost hopeless and the reality of life in the District league next year must now be faced.

This Saturday Rangers play host to Rossvale in the New Coin Automatics West of Scotland Cup. Kick-off is at 2 p.m.

Rangers have been drawn to meet Shettleston in the second round of the Scottish Junior Cup. The game will take place at Duncansfield on October 26, kick 2.30 p.m.
