Good start not enough for Kilsyth Rangers

Kilsyth Rangers continued their pre-season programme with a further two games last week.

On Wednesday evening they went to Armadale and despite opening the scoring with a headed goal from Paul Doyle after just ten minutes they were quickly pulled back by a smart home side who added another to lead by 2-1 at the interval.

Things went downhill from then on with Armadale adding another two goals, one from a rather soft penalty and the other a very good low shot. Two very late goals made the final score 6-1.

On Saturday Whitburn visited Duncansfield and there was a much better showing from Rangers. They looked a completely different team from the one which performed so poorly in mid-week.
