Cumbernauld and Kilsyth junior football teams had another idle weekend.

Both Cumbernauld United and Kilsyth Rangers’ games were called off due to weather conditions for the second week in a row.

Cumbernauld were due to travel to Renfrew for a Stagecoach West of Scotland Super League First Division game against the local side.

This Saturday United are scheduled for cup action at Guy’s Meadow. The game is the Euroscot Eng Central League Cup first round tie against Newmains United which was postponed from March 1.

Kilsyth Rangers scheduled fixture against Maybole was postponed as Duncansfield Park was still waterlogged.

This Saturday Rangers are due to visit Renfrew for a league match. Kick-off 2pm.

With a better weather forecast for the coming week, hopefully it will go ahead.
