Cumbernauld United’s first four fixtures in the Stagecoach West of Scotland Super League 1st Division are: Maybole Juniors (home), August 30, kick off 2pm; Ardeer Thistle (away), September 6, kick off 2pm; Neilston 
Juniors (home), September 13, kick off 2pm; Pollok (away), September 20, 
kick off 2pm.

United pre-season training begins this Saturday, July 12 at Guy’s Meadow. Manager John Queen’s squad for season 2014/2015 is taking shape. Two new players have already been signed and the United boss is hoping to add three more quality signings this week - more news 
next week.

Committee members are working hard at Guy’s Meadow getting the place ready for the new season when of course Kirkintilloch Rob Roy will be ground sharing with United.

The pre-season friendly match at Perth with Jeanfield Swifts on July 26, has been cancelled. Instead a game against Clydebank has been arranged for July 23. Venue and kick off time to be confirmed.
