Football legends to tee off for CACE
The impressive Mar Hall golf course.
SCOTTISH footballing legends Alan Rough and Derek Johnstone are set to take to the fairways to help give a boost to local charity Cumbernauld Action Care for the Elderly (CACE).
The duo will be joined by a host of well-known faces from Scottish sport on Friday, March 23, 2012 to host a fantastic charity celeb-am golf day and dinner at Mar Hall luxury golf and spa resort.
It is hoped the event will raise around £7000 for the charity, which provides a lifeline for older people and their carers in the Cumbernauld and surrounding area.
Alan Rough, ex-Scotland international goalkeeper and now Real Radio presenter, added: “Derek and I are delighted to be involved in this superb charity event – it’s ideal for entertaining clients, rewarding staff or just having a great day out on the course with friends.
“We’ll have a fantastic day, have some laughs and raise funds to help this great charity carry on its good work.”
