Kilsyth Rangers goalscoring record holder dies at 72

A FORMER Kilsyth Rangers footballer who holds the club’s goalscoring record for a player has sadly passed away at the age of 72.

William ‘Wim’ Cardwell’s funeral was held on Friday, August 17, and was attended by representatives from the club.

Better known to the fans by the nickname, Wim, he first played at Duncansfield in the early 1960s.
