Kilsyth Lennox holds prize presentation night

ON Friday, November 30 Kilsyth Lennox Golf Club had a well supported presentation night. Match and handicap convener, Alex Burns, has to be thanked for his sterling job this year and capped his season by presenting trophies to the prize winners. Club captain John Fitzsimmons hosted the quiz and race night.

In the photograph club captain John Fitzimmons, flanked by club and youth champion Hugh Nelson, club champion runner up Alan J, Brown, youth runner-up Darren Conway, and Dean Clelland, last year’s Winter League champion.

Saturday, December 1 was round seven of the Winter League, but play was badly disrupted by the frosty underfoot conditions.

Steven Morrison was the only player who managed to skate his way round and score a remarkable 38 points.
