ON Sunday night 15 players turned up for week two of the Six-Week Snooker League at the Red Triangle.
For a few of the guys it was a very long day indeed. Willie Scott, Davie Hutchison and Mark Caulfield all took part in the Scottish Masters Event 1 Qualifier during the day which was held in the club. Unfortunately, none of our guys qualified but it was a momentous day for the club.
This was the first major tournament that has been held in the club’s history and it has all been down to Billy Stirling, Alan Maxwell and Mark Boyle. The club has had a total makeover and the tables have all been re-covered.
