The Cumbernauld and Kilsyth Girls’ Rugby Initiative returns this month with the launch of a new eight week training block for under 15s.

Last season, girls’ rugby in Cumbernauld developed through the “lunch” and “after school” sessions at St Maurice’s and Abronhill High, as well as training with Cumbernauld Rugby Club.

The initiative aims to build on this success, and will focus on practical skills development and ensuring high levels of enjoyment.

This block of sessions will run on Wednesday evenings from 6pm till 7pm, taking place at the Rugby Club in Condorrat (G67 4HA).

The sessions kick off this Wednesday (August 14) and run until October 2.

This block of sessions is for girls in S1-3, and you can register by coming along to a training session and completing the forms. For further details, call Paul on 07960 811326.
