DULLATUR Bowling Club welcomed in the new season on their new bowling green on Saturday, April 28.

As a result of an investment of £250,000 by Dullatur Golf Club, a new facility, which encompasses a bowling green and two new tennis courts has now been built and was recently opened to members.

Bowling Club president Jim Freel said: “This is a great facility we now have here at Dullatur, it is one of, if not the newest bowling green in Lanarkshire and all our members are delighted to get the season underway.

“We have had a number of new members who have joined the bowling club as a result of the new facilities we can offer as well as a number of members who have stayed in the club during our transitional year whilst these new facilities were being built”.

Dullatur general manager John Bryceland said: “Dullatur Golf Club’s investment in these new facilities will ensure that Dullatur Golf Club appeals to many people – not just golfers”.

“Dullatur offers a wide range of activities such as golf, gym, bowls and tennis. We also have a very active social membership where members can access great cuisine and the many social nights that we put on throughout the year. We will continue to develop our facilities year on year so that they can provide our members with the facilities that they deserve”.
