Last tourney set to be a cracker

With the Sunday night league season drawing to a close, there was one more major tourney up for grabs in the shape of the Red Triangle Club Championship.

The club championship, now in its 17th year, is the pinnacle of the season. With no prize money or entry fee this tournament is all about prestige and to be named Cumbernauld’s No. 1 player. A total of 24 players entered, Eden Sharav and Billy Reid being the two seeds for the draw, Eden looking to defend his title from last year and Billy the runner-up. An interesting tourney lay ahead.

So with Mark Boyle and Eden Sharav booking their place in the final, it should be a cracker. The final starts at 6pm on Sunday, May 26, shortly followed by the presentation of trophies and race night. All spectators welcome for the final, the race night will start approximately 9pm.
