The fishing lodge is now completed and open for business – more details as to facilities and pictures will follow next week.

There was some good fishing last week with Joseph Black from Denny taking a great basket of three for 16lbs 3oz with the biggest tipping the scales at 7lbs 2oz.

Willie Black from Denny took a brace weighing 4lbs 7oz, Mr King of Bishopbriggs three for 9lbs 3oz, Andy Meldrum from Kirkintilloch five for 15lbs 4oz, Colin Zandbergen of Falkirk one at 3lbs 50z and Mr. Morrison from Glasgow caught four for 12lbs.

Mr. Penman from Falkirk took two for 7lbs 3oz, Pat Harte of Bishopbriggs took one at 3lbs.

On the catch and release front Mr Anderson of Cumbernauld had five rain
bows and two blue trout whilst Michael McCall from Glasgow had six.

The best flies last week were the Cat’s Whisker, Orange Spider, Ally McCoist, Black Gnat and Buzzers.
