Cumbernauld Rugby Club’s youth section chalk up another couple of victories

FOLLOWING hot on the heels of the Cumbernauld schools success in the Lanarkshire Cup, the youth section at Cumbernauld Rugby Club added another couple of victories to help highlight the progress the sport is making in the area.

The under 14s welcomed Kilmarnock in a challenge match at Auchenkilns, and managed to come out on top with a six tries to four victory in a keenly-fought contest.

The under 15 team were under pressure to make it a clean sweep over the weekend, and they didn’t disappoint with some great flowing rugby against the team from Garnock.
