JUNIOR side Cumbernauld United now has a sole owner.

The club was previously run by co-chief executives George Watson and Ronnie Hunter.

A decision, however, for George to takeover was made on Friday, November 23.

Ronnie has sold his shares in the club to George and will now retire.

The club want to wish Ronnie a healthy and happy retirement.

Meanwhile, Cumbernauld United still have a Emirates Scottish Junior Cup tie to play after Saturday’s third round match against Forfar West End was postponed due to a frozen pitch at Strathmore Park.
