THE Night Before Christmas, Cumbernauld’s Theatre’s festive offering, is currently entertaining kids of all ages.

Rather than offer a single “Happily Ever After,” the show is a medley of ten short fairytales. This is a show very much focused on the performance skills of its five actors, and all deliver.

Belle Jones, Peter Callaghan, Natalie Wallace, Tyler Collins and Kim Allan give energetic performances throughout an action-packed piece of theatre which features renditions of such well-known fairytales as Little Red Riding Hood, Princess and the Pea and Rumplestiltskin, as well as lesser-known stories including The Magic Tablecloth and The Goat, and Scottish fairy tale The Light Princess.

With straightforward set design and costumes, along with a very good soundtrack by Bal Cooke, this is a Christmas show which is sure to entertain the kids - and tickets are considerably more affordable than the more lavish productions to be found further afield.

Performances run until Christmas Eve with tickets priced £7.95-£9.95.

Call the Box Office on 01236 732887 for bookings and additional information.
