TALENTED young music makers are putting on a charity concert at Cumbernauld Theatre next month to fund a trip to Malawi.
The News and Chronicle has learned that bands mainly drawn from St Maurice’s High School will be performing in the hope of boosting the coffers for their annual African venture.
This sees pupils undertake aid work but they must fund the trip themselves.
Young organisers chose Friday March 9 as the date and have just confirmed the line-up: Lost in a Paradox, Calum Wilson & Oliver Prinn, The Preventers and Note To Self.
Tickets are just £4 each and can be obtained from the theatre. The event kicks off at 7pm.
