HALLOWE’EN parties are great fun - so why attend just one this year?

Local DJ Bryan Love has organised a charity fancy dress club night in Cumbernauld - and will host it on Saturday, November 5.

“Last year I did this on Hallowe’en but due to some other bookings this year it’s happening a little later,” said Bryan, who has recruited several top DJs from around Scotland to make his Hell’s Party event a big night of costumed fun. These include Colours resident and “the godfather of Scottish house music” Jon Mancini and Intensity resident DJ Graeme Platt.

Jon Manicni commented: “I did this last year and it was a good night, so I expect it’ll be a lot of fun this year too. It’s all for a good cause as well.”

Joining Bryan in representing local talent in front of their home crowd will be Dawson Richmond, Stephen Green and Davie Graham, while the behind-the scenes magic of lasers and visual effects will be handled by Steve “Mac” McCracken, who also worked on the recent Warehouse Experiment event in Cumbernauld.

There will also be a 5K sound system and dancers, while the event is also being covered by UXXV Media.

Costumed clubbers will also have the chance to win a selection of prizes, including free entry for the winner and a guest at the famed Glasgow club the Tunnel, where the GB Experience is aired on a monthly basis, a luxury hot stone massage from Belle’s Beauty in Stepps, and tickets for Colours Presents Fergie at the Arches.

Tickets are £8 and fancy dress is essential. The event is in the main arena of the Condorrat Club from 7pm until 1am, with all proceeds going to Strathcarron Hospice.

Bryan Love commented: “The fact that Jon Mancini will be performing a classic house anthems set makes this year that bit more special.

“There was an amazing club atmosphere last years and everyone made an incredible effort to dress up, the outfits were class.

“This year is shaping up to be even better.

“I’d also like to thank last year’s sponsor John Houston for his massive donation to the cause.”
