Twilight Sad’s chart attack

Kilsyth band The Twilight Sad are currently attempting to break into the UK album Top 40.

Their record, Nobody Wants To Be Here and Nobody Wants To Leave, is their fourth album and available on the Fat Cat Records label.

At time of press it had entered the UK album chart at number 51.

The band tweeted: “There is a small chance our record could reach the Top 40. Imagine that...a wee band from Kilsyth in the top 40. Have you got your copy yet?”

The Sads are currently touring the United States, with a string of November appearances in California and Arizona.

James Graham, Andy MacFarlane and Mark Devine have performed together since 2003 when they founded the band with Craig Orzel, who left for personal reasons in 2010.
