Gaelic playgroup being founded in Cumbernauld

A new playgroup will offer children in Cumbernauld the chance to engage with Gaelic education while still in early years.

Sessions will be held in the Village Hall, Cumbernauld Village, on Tuesday afternoons from 1pm-3pm and on Friday mornings from 9.30am-11.30 am and the playgroup is for ages 0-3.
Margaret McVicar of Cumbernauld Gaelic Forum said: “The playgroup will introduce children to a few Gaelic words, games and songs. Parents need not speak Gaelic.”
There will be a meeting in the hall at 7pm on April 2 for people to register or find out more. You can also call Iain Morrison on 07985980719.
