The film crew also toured other local landmarks including Cumbernauld House Park, where they interviewed volunteer Adam Smith.
Adam said: “It was a surreal experience for me last Thursday. Not only was I interviewed by Clare Grogan in Cumbernauld House Park, but I got to sit next to some of the Gregory’s Girl cast during a screening of the film in Abronhill High School.
Joanna Grace, director at Icon Films who make short films for the One Show said: “When we heard that Abronhill High School was closing, we thought what better way to send it off than to make a programme about Gregory’s Girl and put on a screening at the school. It gave us a great opportunity to visit some of the iconic landmarks that feature in the film.”
The air date for the episode is yet to be set but anticipated around the end of the school year.
