Kids shape up for massive dance-off

CONTENDERS from all across North Lanarkshire are flocking to a Cumbernauld secondary to show off their moves in a giant dance-off.

For St Maurice’s High School is hosting two separate competitions, aimed at both primary and secondary pupils who are being bussed in from across the authority to take part.

Last week it was the turn of younger pupils (pictured) who seem to have caught the Glee bug which has sparked a fresh interest in dance, thanks in part to the popular show.

St Maurice’s, which is a designated sports comprehensive, has hosted the competition for the last few years.

And if the big response to the event is anything to go by, that won’t be stopping anytime soon.
