Outlander filming in Cumbernauld
FORTHCOMING American TV show Outlander was filming in Cumbernauld Glen last week.
The historical fantasy show, about a Second World War combat nurse who is transported to Jacobite Scotland in the year 1743, has based its production team at the former Isola factory.
The locations used in the shoot on Friday, February 14 were the Doo Cot and the Millennium Stone.
Adam Smith, of Friends of Cumbernauld House Park, hopes that the project will result in the creation of a permanent film and TV facility. He said the filming was a “fantastic boost” for the area.
