1. You are currently exhibiting your paintings at Cumbernauld Library until October 12. Who is your own favourite artist?

I love the work of Welsh watercolourist David Bellamy.

2.If you were to name someone not so much to your taste who would it be?

I’m not keen on Andy Warhol.

3 If money were no object, what would you do with the rest of your life?

I’d tour all of South America for starters and paint.

4 What’s the most valuable piece of advice you have ever been given?

Be true to yourself.

5. Spill the beans on who your first crush was!

The singer Petula Clark.

6. Describe yourself in three words.

I’d just say, easy going guy - that’s me.

7. What’s your favourite song?

It’s My Sweet Lord by George Harrison.

8. Where do you feel happiest?

It’s got to be when I’m busy in my studio painting.

9.Which three people living or dead would you most like to meet?

I’d pick Rembrandt, Mahatma Ghandi and the Dalai Lama.

10. What motto do you live your life by?

I think I would have to say do as you would be done by.
