Trust celebrates 25th anniversary concert in style

ON Saturday, June 12, Cumbernauld Music Centre Trust held its 25th annual concert in Cumbernauld High School.

Forth pupils, ranging from eight-year-old beginners to highly accomplished young adults performed for an audience of parents, grandparents and friends.

The Music Trust also welcomed as guests, people who had been instrumental in setting up Cumbernauld Music Centre 25 years ago and others who had been involved in the running of the trust over the years.

The trust is an organisation aiming to provide quality music tuition to students of all ages from Cumbernauld, as well as the surrounding areas.

It meets twice a week, on Monday and Wednesday evenings, in Cumbernauld High School and offers one-to-one tuition in piano, singing, guitar, saxaphone, clarinet, flute and violin. Lessons cost 10.
