‘Worrying’ rise in sexual infections in Lanarkshire

The number of Lanarkshire people being diagnosed with sexually transmitted diseases has increased dramatically over the past decade.

Scottish Government figures show nationwide increases of common diseases have increased by well over 100 per cent.

Central Scotland MSP Margaret Mitchell said the figures were “hugely worrying”.
