Cumbernauld connection to treasure found in Canada
A gift expertly made here in Cumbernauld for a man in Canada has inspired a search for information from the other side of the world.
Restorer Ron Campana got in touch from British Columbia after finding these ornamental horns at a sale -which bear the motto ‘Made by Jimmy Bruce for Bill Campbell, Canada’ under the leatherwork.
Ron of Castlegar said the words were penned in 1967.
He then added: “I am curious if this person is still around or if there is any interest in this.”
