Cumbernauld Matalan open for business

Bosses at Cumbernauld’s new branch of Matalan have been in touch to say that the store has now opened

The team said yesterday (Thursday) said that “techical issues” meant that the new store would not be able to trade as planned -with Saturday being flagged up as the opening day.

However the issue was unexpectedly resolved just hours later and customers were finally admitted to the premises at Cumbernauld Retail Park.

Meanwhile the store’s big official launch will go ahead as planned tomorrow (November 9) - and will be opened by Matalan womenswear brand ambassador Denise Van Outen - who currently has a role in ‘Neighbours’

The official launch will kick off at 9am with celebrations and golden envelopes containing vouchers for the first 150 customers through the door.
