CMS Window Systems CEO David Ritchie said: “We’re delighted to win the Scottish Green Apple Award as it is a terrific endorsement of our sustainable business strategy.

“CMS was built from day one around environmental, social and economic sustainability, at the heart of which is our unique closed-loop recycling guarantee, ensuring our landfill waste is virtually zero and that our new windows and doors are easily recyclable at the end of their lengthy service life.

“It is also an honour to become a Green World Ambassador, and have a paper published in The Green Book. This will enable businesses throughout the world to learn from our experiences and help them achieve their own environmental best practice goals.”

This is the latest in a string of accolades for CMS, last year the company won gold in the UK Green Apple Awards and the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Sustainable Development 2017.
