NHS Lanarkshire boss quits for new job

Calum Campbell, Chief Executive of NHS Lanarkshire is set to leave his post within weeks.

For it emerged today (Monday) week that Mr Campbell is set to become the Interim Chief Executive of NHS Lothian.

Mr Campbell will take up his new role on Monday, June 15 in what is being billed as a handover period -before taking up the reins 10 days later.NHS Lothian’s current CEO Tim Davison is set to retire in early August but is leaving early as he has a period of planned leave to take.

Esther Roberton, NHS Lothian Interim Chair said: “Calum Campbell comes to us as a dedicated and already highly experienced Chief Executive.

“ We look forward to welcoming him to his new role here at NHS Lothian.”
