PUPILS at Douglas Primary School became micro-fit at the end of their health week.

After five days packed with activities and recipes for a healthier life, the youngsters took turns on micro inflatables.

There was an assault course, a bungee run and gladiator-style fighting arena.

“It was a fun way to finish off the health week,” said teacher Morag Pitt, who organised the events with colleague Stephanie Barnes. “They all got to enjoy the micro-fit inflatables – even the teachers!”

Experts from various clubs and sports groups were lined up to run sessions for the children. And both Douglas Co-op and Tesco generously donated fruit to the school.
