Strathcarron Hospice’s voluntary befriending service being managed by specialist palliative care clinical nurse Susan High can help people to remain at home insteadof going into hospital - and improve their quality of life.

The pioneering scheme is geared towards bringing light and life into the worlds of people who - for example - suffer from debilitating conditions that can leave them isolated and alienated at home.
