Cumbernauld nursery re-opens after Covid -19 alert

Carbrain Primary School nursery re-opened yesterday (Thursday) after a temporary shutdown linked to the coronavirus

A spokesperson for North Lanarkshire council confirmed that “a small number of children and a small number of staff” were currently self isolating.

He added: “On the advice of Public Health we temporarily closed Carbrain Primary School nursery to allow some members of staff to be tested.

The results were negative and the nursery has re-opened.”
