Parking restrictions have spread to Kilsyth’s Colzium House

The move comes days after the authority worked with police and opted to block off parking facilities a Broadwood Loch and Auchinstarry Quarry.

The car park up at Palacerigg Country Park also closed last month.

It is being stressed that anyone wishing to visit the areas affected should go there by foot or bicycle.

A spokesman for NLC “This is in line with government guidance on social distancing and exercising in people’s local community. to any of our parks.”

“We would ask people not to drive to these locations.”
