Scottish Blood Transfusion Service will return to Kilsyth and Cumbernauld soon

Those who can give blood will be able to do that closer to home soon after it emerged that the Scottish Blood Transfusion Service is hitting the road again within weeks.

It is still possible to give blood at the organisation’s headquarters in Nelson Mandela Place in Glasgow via appointment but it now emerges that the team are coming to Kilsyth’s Garrell Vale Centre on Wednesday , January 13.

Again, a pre-appointment system is in place and bookings are now being taken via [email protected]. Online donor account holders should call 0345 909 0999.

Theteam will also visit Cumbernauld’s Muirfield Centre on Monday, February 1. Booking for this will open up a month in advance.
