Kilsyth gets its pool back for first time in more than a year

There is a welcome update for fed-up swimmers who have been deprived of facilities in Kilsyth for more than a year.

For it has emerged that the town’s pool is to re-open on Monday, April 26. The facility never re-opened after lockdown struck – prompting howls of protests from fitness fans who raised fears about the facility’s future.

The re-opening will also apply to The Tryst Centre although the health suite will remain shut for the time being. Swimming clubs can re-start on the same day and swimming lessons are set to resume shortly afterwards.
