Amy’s inspirational art wins her an iPad
A GREENFAULDS High School pupil won an iPad in a recent design competition.
Amy McMonagle (13) designed a logo for local housing association Sanctuary Cumbernauld, and hers was picked as the winner from 109 entries.
Amy was presented with her prize by Sanctuary board member Alex Clark, who said: “The standard was exceptionally high and a credit to the pupils who took part but Amy is a worthy winner. Picking the best entry was difficult but, after much deliberation, Amy’s came out on top.”
Amy’s design has been given to a professional designer who is working on a new logo for Sanctuary.
Greenfaulds High head teacher Dr John May added: “Amy is absolutely delighted and so are we.”
