Breakfast seminar for businesses as Cumbernauld College

Companies in Lanarkshire are being encouraged to attend a breakfast seminar to find out how blogging can help to promote their business and build their brand.

The Lanarkshire New Media Breakfast will take place in the Lanarkshire Business and Conference Centre, in Cumbernauld College, on Thursday, June 20.

The seminar will be presented by Glasgow digital marketing agency, Fatbuzz, who will demonstrate the power of blogging in business and why it should be part of any social media activity.

It will also look at how it can be used to build trust and engagement with the target audience.

Gordon White, managing director at Fatbuzz, will host the New Media Breakfast.

He said: “We often describe a blog as the hub of your social media activity - it’s a place you own and control and a place from where you can share content to your other social media channels.

“It’s also a place from where interested readers can share your content with their communities and help to build your audience.
