Christmas takes flight

World of Wings Birds of Prey Centre in Luggiebank has certainly gotten into the festive mood.

The centre, which is home to Scotland’s largest publicly-visitable collection of birds of prey, invites visitors to enjoy a Santa experience. Following breakfast or lunch at the Cabin Café, make a visit to Santa’s grotto to receive a special gift, which includes a year’s free child admission.

Part of the Cumbernauld Outdoor Centre, World of Wings is home to eagles, vultures, hawks, falcons, owls, kites and more.

The Santa experience is available until Christmas Eve and can be booked on 01236 722999.

The café is open from 9am until 5pm daily. The family run establishment serves quality food made to order and with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Firm favourites among customers include the home-made soups, the freshly made coleslaw, and the top quality hot drinks.
