Cumbernauld College hosts art exhibition

Creative students from Cumbernauld College will display their work in the annual Art and Design Exhibition.

Taking place from Monday, June 3, to Friday, June 7, this year’s exhibition will be held in the College Street of the Cumbernauld campus and the chill out area at the East Dumbartonshire campus.

Both locations will be transformed to display the work of 56 talented students.

Steven Hart, lecturer at Cumbernauld College, said: “The exhibition gives the public a chance to see what the students have been working on during the past year. There will be an array of different work on show including drawings, paintings, illustrations, printmaking, fashion designs, graphic and advertising designs along with three dimensional. This is an event that staff and students always look forward to and it’s going to be another great exhibition.”

The free exhibition is open from 9am to 4pm.
