Cumbernauld floral art enthusiasts invited to join club

THOSE looking to get into floral art in Cumbernauld may have struggled to find a suitable club in the area.

A club existed in Cumbernauld at one time, but it was wound up some years ago.

That is why Stepps and District Floral Art Club is reaching out to local people to join them in their appreciation of floral art. The club meets in the Garfield House Hotel on Cumbernauld Road in Stepps on the third Monday of each month, so the next meeting is on September 19 at 7.30pm.

Each session is a fun get-together featuring expert demonstrations of floral art techniques, and there are already several Cumbernauld folk in the club, which is the only one of its kind in the area. Professional floral art demonstrator Anne Cant will give the next presentation.
