Pinpoint-Fitness is celebrating a hugely successful trial run of its new “Destination Fat Loss” plan.
Eight people were selected to become Cumbernauld’s guinea pigs for 28 days, with the view of shedding some pounds, while saving some in the process.
“It was very successful and people have decided to stick with the programme after losing weight,” part owner and qualified personal trainer, Paula Halkett, said. The eight were recruited after a News and Chronicle appeal for volunteers to try the new system for free.
“It may seem like a lot of money each month but people’s lives can be completely changed. They become happier with their appearance and we are their to support them all of the way. During their time on the programme people found that other ailments disappeared. So it’s not just all about the weight loss.”
The biggest success story of the 28 day plan was that of Amanda Muir, who lost an outstanding 14lbs. Delighted Amanda said; “I hadn’t done any exercise for a while and was a bit self-conscious. I needn’t have worried, the encouragement and coaching we received really put me at ease.”
