DJ Bryan’s buzzingabout top Tiesto gig

HAVING DJ’d at festivals and clubs around the country with superstars it’s time for the megastars!

Condorrat-based DJ and promoter Bryan Love is to perform at the Scottish leg of the Tiesto Club Life world tour in the capital.

“I’m totally buzzing about this one,” said Bryan. “When running my own night Silky for years in the city centre and in Cumbernauld I’ve always been looking for the next level. Then I got a call at work from a heavy influence of mine, Scotland’s biggest DJ Jon Mancini, who is part of the country’s biggest event brand, Colours.

“Next thing I have a meeting with the top man and an idol of mine, Ricky Magowan. One thing led to another – now I’m dealing with the PR for them in this area.

“I have a few big gigs approaching this year so hopefully my local involvement can encourage more friends and people I know to attend Colours events with direct travel and entry packages from Cumbernauld.”

Taking place at the Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston over the August bank holiday weekend, the event sees the world’s top DJ Tiesto return to the same venue he rocked in March last year.

The 42-year-old Dutchman has received massive acclaim and accolades throughout his career.

He was named World’s Number 1 DJ three times running by DJ Magazine’s annual poll.

He is the first DJ to have played to an audience of more than 200,000, received the Order of the Oranje Nassau from Queen Beatrix in 2004, and he is the only DJ to have played live on stage at the Olympic games, at the Athens opening ceremony.

On top of all that he has helped raise money for survivors of the 2004 Asian tsunami.

Ingliston is the only Scottish date on Tiesto’s world tour and also features the Colours Summer Garden Party with barbeque and outside marquees.

Tiesto’s main support act for the big event is Hardwell.

Tickets for the show on August 28 are £35 from www.mygigticket.com.
