Kilsyth Civic Week - poetry and art winners

Creative youngsters pulled together their best poems and created art for the annual Kilsyth Civic Week competition.

The winners were presented with their prizes in the Burngreen Hall on Wednesday, June 12.

Prizes were sponsored by The Storehouse Church.

The art competition winners were as follows -

P1 - 1st Emma Pender, Kilsyth PS; 2nd Connor Lochrie, Kilsyth PS and 3rd Kieryn, Holy Cross PS.

P4 - 1st Lennon Currid, Holy Cross PS; 2nd Lucy Ann Burns, Balmalloch PS and 3rd Aimee Kinnet, Balmalloch PS.

S2 - 1st Lauren McNiven; 2nd Holly McArthur and 3rd Cairlin Barrie.

Overall winner was Sophie Hamill of P3, Holy Cross Primary School.
