THE Scottish Wildlife Trust are offering nature lovers in Cumbernauld the chance to learn all about butterflies, moths and caterpillars at an educational afternoon this month.
The group are hosting a day at Palacerigg Country Park on Sunday, January 8 and are welcoming anyone with an interest in nature to come along.
Patricia Stewart, chairperson of the Cumbernauld branch of the SWT said: “This is really interesting, easy-learning for families with older children as well as all interested adults.
“Your new knowledge will give your garden and country walks a whole new dimension and make your sightings so much more rewarding and fun.”
Tickets for the event are £2 (kids go free) and can be bought from Patricia on 0141 775 3850.
