News and Chronicle Third Degree

This week’s Third Degree is with Chris McCulloch.

What’s your favourite hobby?

Skateboarding, because it’s like a stress release.

And does Cumbernauld have good facilities, or can more be done?

More can definitely be done, the only park is the one in Abronhill and even that’s not very good.

If you could visit one place in the world this year, where would it be and why?

California - for the great weather and the scenery.

You’ve not long left school, what do you miss?

I miss seeing my friends’ faces on a daily basis.

And what don’t you miss?

The teachers nagging at me!

What would be your dream weekend?

Saturday I would go to Edinburgh to skate with a few pals, and probably end up in McDonalds, and on Sunday I would spend the day with my girlfriend.

What’s the last book you read and the last song you downloaded?

It was required reading for my English higher, but I don’t remember what it was. And I downloaded Keep Your Head Up by Ben Howard.

What’s the best thing that Cumbernauld has to offer young people?

The shopping facilities in the town centre.

If you could go out for a meal with three people, living or dead, who would you pick?

The comic Lee Evans, because he’s hilarious, a guy called David Gravette, who is a skater and all round funny guy, and my old RE teacher Mr McLeary from Abronhill High.

Where do you see yourself in ten years time - in your dreams, and in reality?

In my dreams I would be living in a big house with a fancy car and a well paid job. In reality I will hopefully become an electronice engineer and on my way to achieving the ones above.

What’s an interesting fact about you that people might not know?

I can bend my pinkie right back!
