Amateur photographer Katrina was selected and partnered up with professional photographer Niall Benvie, to capture Cumbernauld’s wild side on camera for the project.

Katrina said: “This is a unique opportunity to see some of the photographs I have captured for this project.

“Up until now I have had to keep most of my photography under-wraps as it will be included in the UK-wide exhibition that is planned for the summer of 2012, so it is really exciting providing the residents of Cumbernauld a small insight into what I have been up to.

“With my images I have tried to capture the wild aspects of Cumbernauld and people’s interactions with them.”

The exhibition runs from October 1-9, in the Upper Longhouse at Palacerigg Country Park. Opening times are 10am-4pm, admission is free.
