Picture slideshow: Property of the Week in Whitelees

Some houses have great flair because of incidental details. Attractive flooring, gleaming tiles, use of mirrors, lighting features, you know the kind of thing.

Well our choice for Property of the Week is a great example of that. It’s located in plush Whitelees, is bursting with continental flair and has had just on one loving owner in its 27 year existence. And here’s a novel aside - it’s situated on a former helipad which brought high profile visitors to Cumbernauld!

Situated in a cul-de-sac, it has three bedrooms, four if you want to convert a study and is yet more proof that you don’t need a new build to have an upmarket family home.

The comfortable lounge leads into a L shaped conservatory which is fully heated when the sun goes AWOL and really ticks all the right boxes in aesthetic terms too.

The garden boasts a really striking layout. It has some most attractively set out decking and water features. We could have sat beside the pond to the strains of running for hours but of course, we wanted to rush back and tell you all about it! Cleverly positioned coloured lighting really gives the wow factor to the front and back garden,

There’s plenty of parking space as well as a single garage.

The family bathroom has a jacuzzi and a double shower so you are really talking about a very opulent choice here. Plus there is a handy downstairs toilet too.

A futuristic look is how to best describe the big kitchen with its immaculate white units and gleaming chrome fixture. Like the rest of the house it is walk-in condition.

We think somewhere is going to fall in love with the place soon. And it could be you!
